World Pasta Day has been taking place on 25th October every year since 1995. It’s a chance to celebrate this much loved and versatile food and what better way to celebrate that by eating lots of it!

When you think of pasta it’s perhaps olive oil that springs to mind but rapeseed oil can also be used for making both fresh pasta as well as a wide variety of delicious pasta sauces.
Here are a few of our favourites which are perfect for enjoying on world pasta day.
Easy Bacon and Pea Spaghetti Carbonara
A Garlic & Herb flavoured rapeseed oil makes this classic carbonara pasta even quicker and easier to make. Just a handful of everyday of ingredients is all you need to make a this delicious spaghetti dish with bacon and peas. The combination of lightly cooked eggs with the cheese and pasta water makes for a creamy and silky sauce. And when you thought it couldn’t get any better, it takes just minutes to make.

If you like our seafood this spicy little dish is perfect for you. Succulent prawns in a creamy sauce, juicy tomatoes and a chilli kick.
