Cinnamon French Toast with Fudge & Stewed Apple

Is it a dessert or is it breakfast? To be honest, it doesn’t matter. This Cinnamon French toast with fudge and stewed apple is next level. Eat it whenever, it’s delicious!

Method

  1. Peel, core and chop up the cooking apples, then put in a saucepan with 50ml of water, 50g of brown sugar and 1 tsp of cinnamon.

  2. Leave the apples to simmer, keep stirring throughout, turn off when the apples have softened and a nice consistency.

  3. Next, slice up the brioche into thick slices, mix together the eggs, the remaining sugar, cinnamon and vanilla essence.

  4. Soak the slices of brioche slices in the egg mix for a couple of minutes.

  5. Heat up a frying pan with 25ml of littleseed Rapeseed Oil, when the oil has heated, add the slices of soaked brioche and fry until golden brown.

  6. Turn throughout and ensure both sides of the brioche are golden brown.

  7. Add your French toast to a plate, top with the stewed apple then grate some fudge on top. Enjoy!
