Sizzled Sprouts with Bacon

Rapeseed oil sizzled sprouts with bacon

Serves 4

Sprouts aren’t for everyone but we think with the addition of garlic, herbs and bacon you can make them a crowd pleaser on Christmas day.

Ingredients 

Method 

  1. Start by preparing the sprouts by chopping off the ends and discarding any leaves that don’t look their best.

  2. Pop the sprouts in a pan of boiling water and boil for around 5 mins or until slightly softer (don’t over-boil!)

  3. Heat a frying pan over a medium hob heat and then add the littleseed Garlic & Herb Rapeseed Oil. Add the bacon lardons to the pan and fry until crispy.

  4. Drain the sprouts and add to the frying pan with the bacon lardons. Sizzle the sprouts for a few mins, add a pinch of pepper, then serve!
