Giant Pizza Sausage Roll

What’s better than a giant sausage roll? A giant pizza sausage roll of course! Read on to find out how to make it.
Serves 8-10
Ingredients
1 roll of shop bought ready to roll puff pastry, around 375g
600g sausage meat
200g passata with basil
200g Mozzarella
Method
Pre-heat the oven to 200C / Fan 180C / Gas Mark 6.
Roll out the puff pastry sheet onto a baking parchment covered baking tray.
Spoon the passata lengthways down the middle of the puff pastry.
Slice the mozzarella into 2cm rounds and place on top of the passata down the middle of the puff pastry.
Roll the sausage meat into a long sausage shape and place on the top of the passata and mozzarella, make sure it goes all the way to both ends.
Drizzle the top of the sausage meat with littleseed Pizza Drizzle Oil.
Roll up the pastry around the filling lengthways, using a little of the water from the mozzarella to stick the pastry together, then brush the outside of the pastry with littleseed Pizza Drizzle Oil.
Bake in the oven for around 30-40min, or until the pastry is puffed up and golden.

Recipe Notes
This giant sausage roll is perfect for making in advance for a picnic. Make it the day before and cut into portions before adding to your picnic basket to make it easier to serve.
