One pot wonders

One pot recipes

We love food! We love cooking it, eating it but we’re slightly less enthusiastic about doing the washing up afterwards.

You feel the same? We thought so!

With that in mind we wanted to dedicate a blog to the wonder that is one pot cooking.

It’s more efficient, it cuts down on the washing up and you still end up with a great tasting meal at the end of it.

We all lead busy lives and we’re all for anything that makes us a bit more efficient.

Money and time saving tips

Our flavoured oils Pizza Drizzle, Spicy Stir Fry and Garlic & Herb are a great way to add an injection of flavour to your cooking.

They can also save precious time on chopping ingredients. Just add a quick drizzle of oil to boost the flavour of your recipe.

What is the best type of pan for ‘one pot’ cooking?

It really doesn’t matter what you choose to cook in but we love a pan or casserole dish that can go from being on the hob into the oven. Cast iron pans are great for this and don’t have to break the bank. They can be picked up in the home section of most supermarkets but why not look out for one in your local second-hand store or charity shop. Cast iron pans and casserole dishes last for years so even if you’re buying second hand expect to get plenty of years cooking out of them.
